OUR MINISTRIES

There is a lot going on here at Upcountry Church on a regular basis! Bellow is just a sampling of some of our ministries. Contact us for a complete list of all of our ministries.

Some of our ministries are revolving - meaning they operate on a session basis and are only offered at certain times of the year but other ministries are happening year round like our kids and youth ministries.

NEW Greenville Campus

We are so thrilled to announce that Upcountry Church has EXPANDED! Earlier this year we launched a new campus at Solutions Recovery near downtown Greenville!

We meet here every Sunday morning at 11:30am.

You can join us on the main campus in Travelers Rest or at our new Solutions Recovery Campus in Greenville.

Worship

Worship permeates all that we do at Upcountry Church. Whether it is through an eclectic mix of modern worship songs, sacred hymns, sharing in the Eucharist or celebrating water baptism together, we worship our Risen Savior every time we gather.

Dress casually or wear your best suit. We come from all walks of life and many different backgrounds. So, come as you are and ready to worship!

Kid's Ministry

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said this because He loves children, and so do we! At Upcountry Church we have a clean, well staffed nursery… a fun, safe and interactive toddler room… and energy packed, gospel filled kid’s church.

Each Sunday, our kid’s church workers lead our children in fun, age appropriate Bible lessons, with music, video, props and games that engage our children, while teaching them the timeless truths of Scripture.

Awaken Youth Ministry

Every Wednesday night from 7pm - 9pm our Youth Pastor leads our 6th - 12th graders in Worship and a study through the bible.

There is a great time of fellowship and lots of fun.

We have periodic events and outings multiple times a year for the group.

C3 College Ministry

Where college students gather for fellowship and study through the word together with our college leaders.

They also take trips and have gatherings outside of Sunday evenings and share meals periodically and stay in contact throughout the week, building relationships and disciplining each other as we are led by Christ.

Currently we are seeking a leader for our C3 group so they have taken a break from regular meetings.

Engage Ministry

Engage is a meetup ministry that is geared toward building and strengthening relationships through shared experiences and fellowship.

Usually Engage events are free and low cost group activities like hiking, skating, ball games, plays, lake trips, coordinated motorcycle rides, cycling, picnics and more!

We keep Engage events on the calendar as frequently as we can all year round! These are open to any one and we encourage you to bring your friends!

Women's Ministries

Our women's ministries operate on a revolving schedule and hold sessions of bible studies, host special events, and attend periodic conferences in surrounding areas.

We also have book club studies and other great opportunities to fellowship and get together with other ladies and moms groups, walking groups and other activities to stay connected.

Currently we have our fellowship group, R.E.A.L. Connections, meeting every Thursday morning at 10:30am. Relating, Encouraging, Authentic Ladies who are building new relationships and making R.E.A.L. connections.

Men's Ministry

Our men's ministry is currently operated on a revolving schedule. We hold periodic studies, breakfasts, conferences and events that are fantastic opportunities to connect, fellowship and build relationships between other men in the community.

Community Groups

Our community groups run on weekday evenings in a number of homes all throughout the area. We enjoy sharing a meal together and great fellowship and, of course, studying the Word together.

These groups meet on a weekly basis but are session based several times throughout the year. There is no better way to build relationships and get to know our church family than by coming to our community groups. You can join at any time and all are welcome! Click HERE to get plugged in.

Save One

We are proud to serve as a chapter base for SaveOne. Our mission, at SaveOne, is to reach men and women who are suffering in silence after an abortion. Abortion has a deep ripple effect. You may have chosen abortion personally, lost a child to abortion, or your life has been profoundly affected by abortion. SaveOne can help you through the healing process.

We keep the identity of every member as well as the meeting locations confidential for the privacy of all involved. You do not need to be a member or have ever attended our church to be apart of SaveOne.

If you would like more information about SaveOne or to find out when our next session is please email Rachel Joseph HERE.

Crisis Help Line

If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, or in need of crisis counseling, you can text the keyword CRISIS to 38470 anytime day or night for immediate and confidential live crisis support.

This service is provided through Solutions Recovery Center.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of the believer's most effective tools. We believe in the power of prayer and nothing is more powerful than praying together.

Not only do we have a dedicated prayer team who pray for the pastor and church before and during every service, but we also have a church - wide prayer line (via text) where anyone can send in a request which is immediately dispersed to the body, to mobilize our church in prayer. We have seen God do miraculous things for His glory through the praying and believing body of Christ!

Meal Train

"Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." (Matthew 25: 34-36)

We are called to care for those in need. One way we do that at Upcountry Church is by providing meals for our families during times of mourning, hardships, and celebrations of new life. Through our meal train, you can help a family feel loved by providing a simple meal and the warmth of His care, as His hands extended.

Community and More...

At Upcountry Church we put the highest emphasis on our local community and supporting missions!

Outside our doors we support a great number of worldwide missionaries and individual ministries that assist with crisis pregnancy, homeless housing, domestic violence victims, abortion support groups, drug rehabilitation, prison ministry, community outreach, meal trains, pastoral counseling, and much much more...

We are a community of faith who understand and believe that sharing Jesus with the world around us is exactly why we are here. There are so many ways to be His hands extended.
